Questions and answers

What we are asked before we start, during the build and after launch. Every answer has its own link.

Before you start

Do I have to pay anything upfront?

Not for a standard website. The preview is free and does not oblige you to buy. For larger projects, such as a web shop, further development after the free initial preview may require an agreed deposit.

What do I need to send for a preview?

It is enough to tell us what you do and what you need. Photos, text, a logo and examples of websites you like help make the preview more accurate, but you can start without them.

I know nothing about computers. Is that a problem?

No. You tell us what you want and we handle everything technical: the domain, hosting, publishing and connections. We explain things without jargon.

I already have a website. Can you redo it?

Yes. We look at your current website, build a new one and carry over the content worth keeping. The old site stays up until the new one is live, and the domain stays yours.

Do you work with clients outside Zagreb?

Yes. Most of the work is agreed by message, e-mail and phone, so we work with clients all over Croatia. We also build websites in other languages.

The preview and revisions

How soon does the first preview arrive?

For a standard website, usually within 24 to 48 hours, counted in calendar hours. We work every day, weekends included. Larger projects have their own agreed timeline.

Is the preview a finished website?

The preview is a real website at a temporary address, built as well as we can from the information we have. It is not yet published on your domain, and we refine it based on your feedback.

How many changes can I ask for before buying?

As many as it takes until you like the agreed website. Send changes by message, voice message, call or e-mail. A completely new brief or major new features are agreed separately, as a new scope.

Can I say no?

Yes. The preview of a standard website does not oblige you to buy, even after several rounds of changes. You owe us nothing.

Who writes the text, and what if I have no photos?

We write the text from what you tell us about your business, and you correct it. If you have no photos, we build the preview with illustrations that suit your industry and swap in your own when you have them.

Pricing and payment

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the scope: the number of pages and amount of content, languages, features, integrations and support after launch. We ask a few short questions and send you a quote. We do not publish a price list.

When do I pay?

For a standard website, you pay nothing until you decide to buy the website you have seen and refined. Payment terms are set out in the quote. For larger projects, further development after the free initial preview may require an agreed deposit.

What is included in the price?

What the quote says: building the agreed website, the text, phone-friendly layouts, basic SEO setup, and hosting and the domain for the period stated in the quote.

What costs extra?

Maintenance after the period included in the quote, extra services such as a logo or business e-mail, and bigger changes, a substantially different design or new features. We always send a quote for those in advance.

Hosting, domain and ownership

Who owns the website?

You can have the website files whenever you ask, and on request we transfer the domain and the website to another provider. Hosting, domain renewal and maintenance are services that run while you pay for them.

I already have a domain. Can I keep it?

Yes. We connect it to the new website. If you have e-mail on that domain, we make sure it keeps working.

What if I stop paying for hosting?

The hosting you pay us for then closes, and the website is no longer online with us. If you want to keep it, ask for the files or a transfer of the website and domain to another provider first.

Am I tied to a contract?

Hosting and maintenance are agreed monthly, quarterly or annually, as set out in the quote. If you decide to leave, we transfer the website and domain to another provider.

After launch

What does maintenance look like?

We agree it individually: monthly if you need frequent changes, quarterly for occasional ones, and annually if you only need hosting and the domain. Small changes within the agreed scope are part of maintenance.

What counts as a small change, and what as a big one?

Small changes are things like new text, prices, opening hours or photos. Big ones are a substantially different design, new sections or new features. For those we send a separate quote before we start.

Will the website show up on Google?

We set the website up so search engines can read it: titles, descriptions, structure and a sitemap, and we can submit it to Google Search Console. How soon and how high it appears depends on Google and the competition, and nobody can guarantee that.

Is the website secure?

Every website runs over a secure connection (HTTPS), and the certificate renews automatically. That protects traffic between visitors and the website, but on its own it does not guarantee complete security.

Larger projects

Do you build web shops and more complex systems?

Yes, as separate projects: web shops, user accounts, custom booking systems and integrations with other systems. We agree the technical scope before development, and the timeline and price depend on the project.

Is the preview free for those too?

The initial preview is. After it, further development may require an agreed deposit, which is set out in the quote in advance.

Does a standard website include a web shop or a form with a database?

No. A standard website has WhatsApp, call and e-mail buttons, and we can build in a form or booking system you already use. A web shop or a system with its own database is a separate project.
